This is a great gift idea for a wine, champagne, or even soda water enthusiast. It looks really classy, is easy to use and keeps drinks cold longer.
Since I live in a place where it is almost always hot, this was a great item to have at hand. It is made of stainless steel, and, when empty, it weighs close to nothing. I found that it is good to place it in the freezer for a bit too, get it really cold, and then place a bottle in it. That has kept my drinks cold for longer than usual. Of course, adding ice always helps! But that is a bit obvious, I think.
The design is simple, classic, it is a plain stainless steel bucket, but it is double walled. The description also says that this is rustless, which is a good quality to have, considering all the condensation and liquid this has to endure over time.
I tried this with a regular wine bottle, but also with my usual sparkling water bottle, and it worked quite nicely with both. The description says this works with regular sized wine bottles, so I would not try to put something bigger in this.
The only downside I can see is that it ships from China, but this only took twelve days to get to me and arrived in perfect condition, so I can't really complain about that part.
