NCLINGLU Loud Alarm Clock
If you are one of those people who need something without a snooze button to really wake up and get out of bed, this is the perfect thing for you! I admit, I got this because of the retro look, I had clocks like this when I was growing up, and this is a bit of a reminder of that - without the annoying ticking!
This clock works with 1 AA battery, that is not included in the package, but, as usual, my rechargeable batteries come in handy. It has pretty big numbers on it, so it is easy to read from a distance. The alarm and the clock are pretty easy to set. You get one rotating knob for the time and one for the alarm - but, remember, the alarm goes off twice a day, so you will have to keep that in mind and turn it off, otherwise you get a really noisy alarm. The two bells are pretty loud when it is time for the alarm to go off. My cat got really scared because of that, and even now, he goes to attack the clock when he sees it. So, if you are a bit skittish, you might want to keep the alarm button off most of the time.
In the back, there is a very handy button - for lighting up the clock. That is a good idea for checking the time at night.
The one downside to this is the instructions sheet. That needs a bit of work, it is poorly translated and makes no sense. But, the clock has basic functions, so it is hard not to understand what needs to be done.
I really like the look of this clock, especially in black. It looks very classy, I think it would make a nice present.
