If you are one of those people with a lot of cables hanging out, this is the ideal thing for you. It is small, so it doesn't exactly take up that much space from your desk/table.
I have to admit I did get this mainly because of my husband. There is ALWAYS some clutter there, a couple of external hard drives hooked up, there's the cable for the speakers, there's one for the headset charging, another cable dangling to charge the iPhone, etc.
When you have that kind of clutter to deal with AND a cat that absolutely adores playing with cables and thinks everything is his own playground, like I am dealing with, this is definitely a good investment.
As advertised, this comes with two boxes in which you find the little organizers. It is really easy to hook up the cables in position, and there you go, clutter is a bit more in order!
The color of this fits with most desks or tables, both of ours here are black so these fit right in.
I, personally, don't see any negative aspects, and I'm fond of the little bit of order these organizers give.
